No indeed, we have our fearless dance leader Maldon teamed up with tap dancing saxophonist Shoehorn and our troupe of Sean-nos dancers. We don't just roll out the Wild Rover either, no indeed, you can expect to hear some great Irish songs AND there will be one or two renditions you just won't be expecting to hear . . .

The muses collide when The Stomptowners present "Brightening Glance," an intriguing percussive dance performance about the cycling of the seasons inspired by the work of the iconic Irish poet William Butler Yeats. The show will feature Irish traditional sean-nós (or “old style”) dance, traditional step dance and Irish set dancing. The performance will be set to the live music of the dynamic Portland-based Celtic band The Stomptowners.
